    Default Tall vs short pleated filters for DC's

    Was talking to a woodworking chum today and we began talking about pleated filters. My thoughts seemed unsatisfactory.

    Is there an advantage to using the tall pleated filters (1800?) vs the regular ones (900?)?

    I thought maybe airflow and reduced cleaning, but is that all?

    yep and the disadvantage if needing a higher ceiling.
