That could be very useful for a few “ people” I know at present.
Or am I not meant to say those sort of things.

    Cheers Matt.

i see your 783kW and raise you 6000kW.

i forgot we had 4 of these squirrel cage dust extractors out the back of the work shop sucking away. i think the motor build plate says it all but 6000kw at 590rpm and 40 tons. Manual is saying CFM - 1050 x 1000 so we're pusing 1million CFM per fan.

and they make a big noise on start up.

    You win

What on earth are you doing that needs to move that much air and does the factory need permanent vents to stop the walls from collapsing in?

Hmmmm. 6 poles and 6MW: Looks suspiciously like an ID Fan to me.

    Would it also be 11KV?

Actually there are implosion dampers on the duct work to stop them creating a mini black hole when all the ducts collapse in on them selfs. As for what they're used for, technically when you plug your DC into the wall and turn it on we help send the angry pixies down the line.

I think after its been running for 20 min the neighbours won't hear it anymore. Or anything.
And if they still want to cause trouble, just ask "Does it sound louder or quieter when you stand near that vent over there?"
