timbecon 3hp dust extractor - BobL opinion!
Hi BobL! I was wondering if you, or anyone else with experience/knowledge in the matter could give their opinion on this unit:
https://www.timbecon.com.au/sherwood...dust-extractor
my concerns with it are the single intake into the cyclone is 125mm which makes expanding it to 6 inch not feasible
Or, would you go with combining this
https://www.timbecon.com.au/sherwood-3hp-dust-extractor
I would house the whole unit outside the shed in weather proof enclosure.
The problem with that is, I would not be able to pair it up with this
https://www.timbecon.com.au/sherwood...tor-with-frame
since the port size is only 5 inch
Also, if you are reading this, here is another random question I have for you related to dust extraction:
in this video Dust Collection Piping and Testing - 275 - YouTube
you can see the system designed by clearvue reduces 6 inch to 2x4inches. Do you have any comment on that? If I read your other threads and understood you correctly, you suggest that a 6 inch diameter should not be reduced to only 2x 4inches, but rather 3x. Is that correct?
Thanks!
