    Default Universal hose kit

Hi all, I'm looking to add to my dust collection arsenal and am quite impressed by this kit by Rockler http://www.rockler.com/dust-right-un...-port-hose-kit, quick review vid here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7qSIGhb6sk

I've checked out Rockler's US site but shipping would cost more than the item itself. Carbatec seems to have something similar but it appears to be missing the universal rubber fittings that make the whole thing work so well http://www.carbatec.com.au/2-12-hold...ose-kit_c21630

Does anyone know of where I can purchase the rockler (or similar) locally? My searches have come up empty. Happy to hear ideas on how the same functionality could be achieved sourcing components separately if anyone has done that too. For me the main dust producing culprits that would benefit from something like the kit are the SCMS, orbital sander and electric planer.

    Thanks,
    Steve

I get all my bits and pieces like these out of the rubbish bin at the local Godfreys. If you grab a few upright vacs they have all sorts of fittings and stretchy hoses on them. If you need joiners visit you mechanic and get some various size old radiator hoses.
    I'm a scrounger, it's in the blood!
