Venting DC outside question
I've put up a garden shed to store the DC away from the garage.
When people speak about venting the DC outside.
1. Do you guys dissemble the DC and keep the motor inside then run the hose out to the shed?
or
2. relocate the entire DC outside and run the hosing back into the garage to the source(eg. table saw, router)

Generally 2. It also gets rid of the noise from your work area. The idea would be to use straight, smooth sided duct rather than 'hosing' to maintain maximum airflow. There's heaps of information on the forum including details of member's installations.
Cheers,
