Some feedback on using Cat5 cabling to extend the range of the keyboard.

The RS485 signaling works fine when the VFD is not running, but when it's on there's RF interference which causes minor glitching with the keyboard.
Recommend that you choose shielded Cat5 or Cat6 cable instead of unshielded to minimise this problem.
