I am looking at a DC for my shed and would like to see a clearvue cyclone in action. Get a close up look at one. PM me to work out a time, Thanks in advance.
Or if some one got or know of one that might be up for sale please let me know.

Russell,
You are welcome to fly to Brisbane and look at mine.
But perhaps contacting Chris parks, who was the Clear Vue distributor until recently, would be e better idea. He will know who in Sydney has one installed.

Bugger, Gave up drink a few years back.
If I do decide to make my own then I might have to appeal to your good nature and get a few closeups of a few section of cyclone.

Russell,
If you decide to make your own, the plans are available, I think, at Bill Pentz's site. I looked at doing that but decided that I needed a solution quickly.
Happy to help anyway I can.

Yes I want some thing quickly also but there is no cyclones in oz at the moment and it might be quicker to build then buy. I have Bill plans and have also cad it up to better understand how to make it.
The other problem is getting a impeller just got a quote of $1000+.
Will talk with Stephen again today see what the latest is with CV stock.
I was hoping to buy one second hand but have found none. Must be to good a product so there keeped.

Russell,
The toughest part to build seemed to be the impeller housing. Might it be worth while to see what it would cost to get an impeller and housing freighted from the US?

Don't know whether it would have been suitable for your application but a little while ago there was this impeller for sale in the Market Place.

It didn't sell and was subsequently withdrawn by the seller.
Maybe a PM to him if it is suitable?

Yes the impeller is the hard bit. Cost to import is around $400. Houseing not so hard to make.
Have sent Greg a PM
Thanks for the info
