John with respect if you know of a jurisdiction in which my claim is not true in, then please state which jurisdiction.
The method I posted earlier in this thread is the recommended method. There is another method of switching between the active and neutral at each end that is the non preferred method.

Other issues aside, if the collector has a power switch that resets on power fail, ie magnetic etc, the remote unit or two way switching must be between the units switch and motor, rather than before the switch. Otherwise whenever the unit is switched off remotely the user would need to reactivate the unit from the remote then hit the start button on the unit to start it.
