Default Very small workshop, external wall hung DC?

    Hi,

I have a 16sqm workshop and I want to have a nice dust collector on the wall outside, ideally wall mounted and outdoor rated, is anything like that available in Australia, my budget is $2K, my table saw and thicknesser would be the worst dust offenders.

    Thanks.
    Richard

I can't speak for your location, where I am it would have to be fully enclosed and comply with the noise rating.

Thanks, I hadn't thought about noise, what about an internal compact "modular" unit that can be wall mounted up and out of the way, maybe I could put a cyclone separator outside?

totally depends on your neighbors and location for noise and for hobby use which probably means it only gets used less often its probably not as big of a deal compared to a shop that runs it from 9 - 5.

really you're probably going to be limited to a DC2 or DC3 dust collector which is a fairly generic unit. but you can also look at adding some exhaust fans in the space to help remove the fine dust floating around.
