I like the extra touch with the transverse spring. Glad you went that way!!:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:
So far it is looking great:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:.
I have been trying to catch up on some of the posts and just got round to this one.
Back in the shed today & we have the tyre's blacked & on the drying rack, & then the wheels & tyres with the first coat of poly. Next is the floor & my own designed gearstick, pedal box & the pink seat. Last two pics are at the start of the assembly of the cab. Cheer's Jim.
The Ford is looking really great Jim, well done.
Keith
Just love these builds, especially the wheels.
Looking good jim
The Model T has now been completed. First I would like to say thank you, to all who have commented during this build, it was good to have you bloke's along for the ride. I did not intend to do a WIP because it is really a beginners model & I thought it would not generate much interest. But I was wrong again. Some may say as usual. It was a good model to build & I am reasonably happy with the way it turned out. It is about 16" long & took about 25 hour's to build. I used Australian Red Cedar for the roof, bonnet & fender's. Ebony on the pedal's & purple heart for the seat padding. The tray is of unknown origin as it was given to me by a neighbour. The tyre's were painted with an acrylic black craft paint & the whole model has about two coat's of Estapol Polyurethane Satin. Regard's Jim.
The truck turned out very nice jim especially the wheels love the wood choice
