    G'Day Wheelin,
I have always sent the links of the beaut toys & the link to family & friends to view the top projects.
As you mentioned the last lot I sent, the comment came back that they couldn't view the photos.
This is extremely disappointing as the forum has gained members from seeing the photos with the posts.
I hope that the "powers that be" reverse this; I've put a thread up asking the question.
I hope I don't get into trouble for asking.
    Cheers, Crowie

I too would like to thank you Bret for taking the time to photograph this wonderful and fascinating project for us to share in the excitement of seeing it all come together.

I am sure we have all learned a lot from this thread over the months. I know I have. Nothing can be said that has not already been said as to the quality of your work. It is faultless

Over the years I have seen many models and built many models and all the pictures I have seen taken of any model can never do the model justice.. If your model looks that great in a picture, I know it will look even better in the flesh and I can only try to imagine just how great it really is.

I would also like to thank you for sharing your knowledge with us and even though your work cannot be faulted, you have always taken time to listen with respect to advice from others on the forum and you have also given us some great ideas and advice along the way.

You never criticise others work. in fact, you praise their work and praise coming from you is praise indeed.

I am pleased you posted the pic of yourself with the model. Actually it is bigger than I had imagined and that picture put it into perspective for us. I know you have given measurements along the way but sometimes its not easy to visualise something until you can compare it with something else.

Great work Bret, great model and a great WIP

Awesome job!! Just AWESOME!! I can't begin to tell ya what inspiration you've been to me already! I hope someday to be half as good as you are! And like others have said, your advice and documenting of your steps is invaluable to us folks who are just trying to figure it out! Thx again for sharing this awesome project with us!!

Its finished well the prime mover is now for the trailer maybe I'm greedy I don't want this to stop I have enjoyed following. Well done and i am already watching the train.

There is a bonus to this thread all the fellows into models will now have to as they do downunder pull out all stops and show what they can do which means I get to see other models.

I know one chap who I hope has not sidelined his but is secretly well into it by now he knows who I mean

    What a top idea Ray,
I'm sure Bret would do a fantastic "trailer" for his truck.
Looking forward to those WIP photos & working note.

I would love to do a trailer. There is even one in the book for the truck. The problem is the trailer is 4 feet long! So the truck and trailer would be 6 feet long! I don't know where in the heck I would put it. I already have to build a shelf just for the Truck in my study. I want it at eye level so I can see it everyday. I will have to think about the trailer.

    John,

That sounds like a great idea. Although if I do come to Aussie I would have a bunch of people to meet and greet. I would need at least a month there. Probably still wouldn't be long enough! LOL
