    Default Beginners project

Not really a scale model but a fun first project for my kids.

This is the marshmallow catapult from popular woodworking.

    https://youtu.be/Z0XgxsqKitk

Made with dados, lap joints, bridle joints plus a mortise and tenon so a good introduction to these joints.

Mine was made with hand tools out of Tassie oak from Bunnings then finished with shellac.

    Regards,

    Adam

    Top job Adam...
Welcome to the wonderful world of toymaking were the reward is a double act..
First the joy of the making then the greater joy of seeing children play with your hand made wonderful creation.
    Cheers, crowie

Love it .... I would be afraid that my kids would eat the marshmallows and replace them with marbles.

Thankfully my girls haven't discovered marbles yet, but Lego did follow the marshmallows soon enough......

pointy corners, or heavy. I guess in some way it's better that they've not chosen heavy (yet)
