    hi garry

    your build really looks amazing

    i am going to use your jig for building the spoked wheels as i have need for one for my stage coach project. i was thinking about making something similar and your build proves it works

    i really admire you and all these orther people on here that build these amazing models from scratch

    thanks folks for your kind words, heres a pic of the box rods in place they hold the bottom of the wagon box in place you can see the center brace that holds a tool box or a water barrel, did you know a cooper is a man that makes barrels.... ''not'' chicken houses'' you can all so see the braces that will saport the over hang an the box.....

    heres some more progress on the sheep wagon some of this is a slow go if you get ahead of your salf the window wont slide in the slide... this is the way the sheep wagon window was in the one i was in as a kid... and it's EZ to trim out the door and window before the ends or in. and all the things that go in...

    this shows the front end i glued 5 peces 1/4'' thick togather then marked it out at 5/16'' then with a all i scribed the marks so as to look like 3'' boards that's the way the real ones or....

    this shows the wood infront of the wagon for the bows for the top. the ones for the end is 5/8'' wide so to over hang the front 1/8'' as well as the back the rest or 5/16'' i will soak them in water then bend them around a templet the size of the ends this will be one of the last things i do theres 5 bows in between the bows on the ends and they have 3 purlins on each side...first i need to work on the bed an table that slides out from under thr bed and incendentals in the liveing space...

    the size of this model is 16 1/2'' long the bed is 72 1/8'' wide in side..and 52'' deep, the liveing space is 60'' by 40'' now you need to keep in mind that this is 1/8'' = 1'' in scale it's 124'' high from the top of the table to the top of the wagon.the door is 72'' by 20'' in side of jamb it's 80'' wide out side the wood stove is 18''+22''+28'' high the brake handl is on the right side just in side the door and sticks up about 10'' it comes through a slot long gated....
