Thanks for the kind words. The dark wood (or timber as you blokes call it ) is walnut and the lighter colored wood is red oak.
Yes, I made the wheels. In the case of the wheels, the tires are walnut and the inner wheel is made from maple.
The plans are from "Toys & Joys"
