    Default Open horse drawn wagon

Most contributor's to this site have gone hi-tech, Brett with his Locomotive & the twin's with their 1930 model Roadster's & all the project's are looking great. My latest model has gone back a 100 year's. A toys & Joys pattern of an Open Horse Drawn Wagon from the mid 1800's. I used Aust Red Cedar, spoke's from bunning's & Estapol Satin for the finish. Regard's to all. Jim

    Simply beautiful Jim,
You've certainly done a great work on the wagon to show-off your craftsmanship.
    Top job.
    Cheers, crowie.

    Default Horse Drawn Wagon

Thank's to everybody for the compliment's on the Wagon. To Aussie you have done the hard part's, the rest is straight foreward. I did not like it until I put the wheel's on & now I think it look's impressive. I think you would like it. Graham, their will be no horse's because it is about 19" long & 11" tall. My wife has said recently, get it of the coffee table & out of the lounge room, it's too big. I don't know what she is going to say about the bulldozer i'm doing next.
    Regard's to all Jim

    G'Day Jim,
I'm having trouble controling my laughter.
My wife has also been at me about making more to just have in and around the house.
You just got to love the darling ladies because we'd be lost without them.
Let us know how you fair.
    Cheers, crowie

    Wow, Jim. I love it.
The panelling around the sides is a nice touch.

    Well done. Another beauty.
