    Finally finished my third T & J display model (with extra details)

    Dark timber is West Australian jarrah and light timber is clear grade pine

    Thanks for the feedback.

    I never kept a record of the hours it took to construct,but it
    did take a long time.( many weeks )
    I am not 100% sure that the T&J plans are based on a Kobelco,I did e-mail
    T&J and asked the question but never received a reply.
    I then searched the internet on all of the manufacturers and Kobelco was the closest.
    The finish is Miritone lacquer
    The tracks were cut out on the table saw using a dado blade with the timber strips
    held in a jig.
    The drilling for the track pins ( dowels ) was done on the drill press held in a jig
    very similar to the one Linesman has shown.

    Mr T., you did a great job. I love the attention to detail and the extra stuff you did. Being that I am working on my first model I'm not quite confident to add any extra stuff to mine. But maybe later I will give it a try.
