Amazing stuff. Thanks for posting this Paul.
The degree of realism is unbelievable. Not a single thing out-of-place that I can see.
A bit off-putting - never in a thousand years could I get this good at modelling.

And thanks for the Flickr link Derek. Lots more good pics there.

Did you read the comments ... about going to a tech school for a day ...

I wouldn't be surprised if you just changed the course of someone's life.

    That is actually my goal.
Throughout my life, small random events and people, who I never met, came into my life and changed the course of it.
One incident stands out for me; when I was 10, I was selected to go to art classes at the Carnegie Museum. My parents did not know why I had been chosen and the teachers in my school were vague on the details. But I did go and was taught a new way of viewing the world. Over 500 children throughout the city of Pittsburgh showed up every saturday to draw and paint for 4 hours. The highest honor was to be chosen to go up on stage and recreate your drawing at a larger scale in front of the entire class. I was chosen 3 times.
Every day I thank the person who was responsible for that opportunity; who ever they were.

No words can describe the look, smiles, and excitement that spread across Assabet Valley's Design and Visual Department as Michael Paul Smith started his lecture. Not only did he show his creative talent, and a few tricks along the way, Michael shared stories and life lessons which will stay with the students for a long time.
Assabet Valley Reg. Tech. HS is a regional voke tech in Central Massachusetts. One of the 17 high tech Chapter 74 technical programs is Design and Visual Communications. The students are highly versed in the latest design software. Michael's ability to connect with the younger generation, with a lower technology approach, was a pleasure to witness! Passion of any topic, if it comes from the heart, is a powerful learning tool...Michael, we can't thank you enough!
