Looking good. Some woods are just prone to splitting when drilled especially if the parts are small. Look forward to see the rest of the build as and when you are able to do some more

Hi Choof, looks like an intricate build. Are you working to a plan or photos and winging it?
Excited to follow your build, thanks for sharing.

I am following a Toys & Joys plan the trailer and dolly are in southern silky oak and the truck in Queensland maple ,I have changed a few items like the bonnet in the plan was a solid block I hollowed it out and put an engine and gear box in the chassis rails then hinged the bonnet forward like a real one .I will put a few more pics up and on the diffs I made a much larger pinion case and little crosses to look like uni joints .
    Thanks Rod

Thanks Crowie I have finished it but will add a few pics over the next few days the cost of the plans was ok but the postage was a bit steep over $70 and exchange rate was not good but since I drove one years ago I wanted to build one

Hi Choof Where are you getting your plans I am in NZ and get T&J plans from Aussie and postage is only about 10% of what you said.
Your work is looking good so far.
