Default Toys for Big Boys - load 'em up !

This is my latest - it is a 950K Cat Wheel Loader. Plans are from Toys and Joys.

This is the most time consuming (estimated around 120 hours) and detailed one to date.

Overall length is approx. 22 inches (or around 56 cm for you blokes down south)

As always, any and all comments, pro or con are welcome. Sorry, I did not get any WIP photos.

Looks awesome as usual BigD. Having been working with small bits. Really appreciate the hand rails and how detailed they look.

G'day Dennis, What a superb model; love the detail and the timber selection.
Us older blokes understand inches so 22" all good.
Pro's - all the closeup photos of the details, thank you....
Con's - can't see it in person to fully appreciate the build....
    Cheers, crowie

PS - Maybe next time for the WIP photos & build notes.....

    Thumbs up

That is a rip snorter DD!! Love the wood selection and attention to detail!

I understand inches as well as cm for two reasons:

    1. Iam old eneough to have learnt the imperial system.

    2. I'm smart!!

A great build always like to see some of the Excellent work you guys put on here. I was brought up on feet and inches and always measure that way, the only thing that mucks me up is buying sheet material that is in metric.
