    Default Waynnicko's Wood Model Photos

    Hello there,
    I finally worked out how to post photos directly to this site - Heres hoping it worked.
    I had to reduce the size of the pics as they were far to large to upload ,So along with the advice I was given by Neil and Aussie - Here goes!.
    I did post a link to the pics prior to this but I think this may be a bit easier to view them.

    Good to see you posting your models Wayne.As you know I have seen your model cars and Motorbikes.They are by far the best scale wood models I have seen,or even dreamed off.I can only hope to get that good one day The FJ holden ,well underneath is more detailed than the outside.Little universals on the tailshaft,exaust pipe,subframes,it is all there
    You deserve the prizes you have won.I think one of the prizes was judged by Neil Ellis the big cahoona at the Geelong show a couple of years ago for the A model Ford
    Back To Car Building & All The Sawdust.

    It's more a case of determination,
    I have spent around nine months scratch building each of the models so far.
    A hell of a lot of it is trial and error - But as you go along you do teach yourself a few new tricks.
    The internet is one of the main tools that I use as far as researching how the real vehicles were constructed .
    Trying to emulate that in timber can be a bit difficult at times - But thats a big part of the reward when the job is done.

    Heres another pic of the F.J.Holden Ute model - with the bonnet or "hood" removed.
    The engine bay is a bit easier to see .
