Default Where's all the scale modeler's gone.

Have been waiting for a couple of weeks for some action on the building of various scale models.
Is it a holiday season or do I have to start another model to get things moving. John

    What he ^ said.

I've been waiting & watching too. Hopefully I can get on with my Beetle soon, just have a few other things to clean up first.

Greg, Geoff, Bret, Jim, CD and Mel, how are your builds progressing?

Yes John, it has been on the quieter side of things even in the "toymaking section".....
Steve mentioned a few blokes are doing some model or have them in progress; even some scratch builds.
Maybe the skilled craftsmen with the patience to build the beaut models they do, are having a rest or a change of focus.
I'm sorry I have no idea as I just do toys and the occasional bed.....lol.
    Keep up the encouragement.
    Cheers, Crowie

John, I am sure we would like to see another of your magnificent model's so don't hold back. I personally have been stuffed around by toys & joys since early April regarding their 2013 catalogue. It is supposedly " in the mail" & I am still waiting. So I have purchased an INTARSIA pattern from Garnet Hall out of Canada of a Harley Chopper. If & when T/J decide to answer my request I may go back to model making. I am looking forward to your next build which I am sure wont be long. Regard's Jim.

Thanks for the encouragement John and everyone else. I have noticed here and there the forum gets slow. I confess I have been on the lazy side lately. I have made progress on mine but not posted it up yet. As far as temps no cold here it was 93* yesterday with 86% humidity. Makes the shop unpleasant and the recliner much more inviting.

Good to see there's some action going on. It's been pretty cold here too, not too conducive to trekking out into the shed.
A bit warmer today, though, so I got a little done.

Wow, that's looking too good for words, Mel. Someone's been busy.
You really have an eye for detail. The individual pieces are all works-of-art in themselves. I could stare at this for hours. Good stuff.

I have been quite on the toymaking as I have been making things to take to the rallies to sell like turning items as it pays to keep my hobby going. At the moment I have an order for 6 more of the money boxes I make.
I don't really do much in the way of scale unless you count the ones in the pictures below(Some are kits and the rest are scratch built from plans also this is not all of them unfortunately they are packed away and difficult to get to) Sorry about the dust.
I mainly enjoy making toys to play with as it gives me so much pleasure to see the kids playing with them.
