Casting or stabilizing some split burl slabs
Hi all,
I have a few burl slabs, River Red gum and a eucalypt I believe. They are quite split, however my intention was to cut them into scales and blanks anyway.
I have asked about these burls a while ago in another forum, and am finally getting around to doing something about them.
Basically i am trying to determine how and even if i should looking at stabilizing the blanks.
Any info or advice greatly appreciated.
(For scale, the red rectangle they are sitting on is the top of a filing cabinet.)
Cheers
Glenn
