Can't say I know the brand, but note it says it is for surface finish, casting jewelry etc. May take is that this means it is not a low exothermic epoxy, so it can't be cast more than 10-15mm at a time, otherwise it gets too hot and will crack. Certainly a lot cheaper when you order more.
I use Mexapoxy HX, specifically formulated for low heat to minimise cracking when doing the higher thicknesses. Mind you I still aim to have max 30-40mm thickness (by having wood or other items in the resin for larger casts). Unfortunately it only comes in 4litre and 20litre kits (that works out to be ~$24/litre and $16/litre delivered respectively).
0.75Litre is fine for testing or seeing if you like it, but once you get into it, 4litres does last long, and for someone like me even 20litres goes fast (especially when I'm doing 3-4litre pours)Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new
