    Default New To Casting Blanks need help

    Hello everyone
    I have been going to make my own acrylic blanks for awhile now but i am looking for as much info as i can find so I am asking for any help or info people have to offer. eg web sites and past threads.
    I have purchased some clear acrylic casting resin and also some non tansparent dyes. I have coming in the mail some Jacquard PEARL-EX MICA PIGMENTS. What i need to know now is as many tricks about making them as i can possibly find.

    All help would be appreciated

    hi

    I found the library section of the IAP site very useful. Also do a search on youtube for polyester resin - it should throw some up some informative videos of what to do.

    As the others have said, IAP library, YouTuibe videos, and now we have the Casting & Stabilisation sub-forum here, read through all the old posts for more localised information.

    But no matter what you read, trial & error will be required for your specific climate & accessories.
