    Default Another casting opinion needed

As some know I have not even done 15 castings yet, anyway I think I got a little ambitious with this last batch and did a 4 colour pour not only that but had to mix them to get the shades and colours needed. Luckily I have the three primary colours Red, Yellow and Blue along with Black and White.
Anyway to the opinion that I would like is does these pass OK for Camouflage blanks and the small one rough turned hence the tube being where it is in the blank.

Taken from both sides and turned from the smallest one in the above picture.

Nice blanks, but pass for camo blanks, IMO no

    got to agree with Neil,
They are nice blanks but after turning they lost their Camo look (although second turned one is real close).

Wouldn't really say they 'lost the camo look', but there is an abundance of the white to them.
Vertical pouring of blanks pretty much will yield awesome swirling every time you do it, and the 'camo look' tends to want to stay blotchy-ish...so maybe a flat pour with less mixing would yield a better result?

Nice blanks regardless, and they should definitely be utilized!

While I have to agree that that its not really camo, ususally made up of larger swirls, the tight swirls look awesome. I can really see this blank on a kitless, or a modified kit with no extra hardware, just a clip. The large patch of white gives it a very stricking appearance.

You might want to perfect this design opportunity.

Thank you guys for your honest opinion, I seem to have had mixed feelings about them. At least I get a rough idea what people like. I am going to make them up and see if the look any good on pens. I am still learning as far as casting goes. I have made a mould for flat casting and will be having a go at that sometime.
