Casting resin
I bought 4kg of casting resin from FGI today. Not a bad price at $90. They put it in a 20 litre drum and added a bit more from other drums almost empty without charging for the extra. $9 for the catalyst for the 4kg. Worth having a look at as suggested by dai sensei.

Greg, that seems very expensive
4kg of Clear Casting Resin at Barnes is $66, Quality Casting Resin $55.
At Nuplex (formerly FGI) they are $60 and $50 respectively.
Also, putting 4kg of PR in a 20litre drum is not good practice as it tends to go off much quicker with a small quantity in a big container (exposed to a lot more air)
I buy MEKP (catalyst) in 500gram containers for $19, it doesn't go off and is much cheaper than buying in 50gram lots ($6.50)
500 grm of catalyst wil do a lot of PR.

I also think it was a bit rich, my last lot of 4 litres was from memory 65 or 68 bucks.

I must apologise. I typed in $90 when it should have been $60. The 4kg of resin and 100ml of catalyst cost me $63.72. Plus the fact they put in extra resin for me at no cost. That's why I was praising Nuplex. I must be dyslexic. Anyway I got a very good deal from Nuplex and I would recommend them. Sorry about the mistake.
