    Default Casting resin colour

    Looking to start casting soon and looking for a supplier of the pigments and stuff for swirls Sent an email to Cardstone the importers of Alumilite but received no answer

    Tested the new pressure pot last night and it seems to be holding the pressure ok

    Also looking for a vacuum pump ant ideas. They have air driven ones in the US for $16 but have not found them as yet in Oz

    Here's another a bit closer to home here Sam - they also deliver and have good service. Check out their metal powders too.

    Sorry Sam, been away for a while.

    I haven't got a vac pump yet, I'm using my paint pressure pot as is (ie pressure not vacuum) at the moment. Only problem I am having so far is actual condensation within the pot dripping on the resin, but it usually only affects the excess resin anyway.

    I have just tried the pot but not any resin as yet and that will have to hold as the Op is tomorrow. Its all very interesting I think I might import an air vacuum pump from the states at $59

    Also playing with polymer clay
