Default cutting and sticking back resin

Hi there, I saw on youtube someone cut set clear resin in half on a band saw and stick it back together with just a little more resin and no sanding or anything. Does this produce a seamless fusion? Trying out new words!!!!

Depends on the resin, colour, cut finish etc but in short you will be able to see when viewed at right angles to the joint/. It then becomes how hard is it to see. If totally clear resin you will always be able to see, but with epoxies and good joint, depends on how hard you look. I've been doing dried flowers in small layers of clear and translucent coloured epoxy, as large layers tend to cook the flowers turning them brown, but I can see the joints from the side although clients couldn't unless shown
