I have made my own many times. Just use dowels and screw them down to a timber plate and build a box around them for a suitable wall thickness. I do ensure the timber is sealed, then use a release agent just before pouring silicon in, your cooking spray olive oil is fine. Make sure you build a well at the top (bottom of timber mold) though for extra resin, one issue I had with Wisson's ones, before I put a silicon bead around the top.

Thank you all for your help.

I went to Clark Rubber and got the stoppers. I put a hole through the moulds using a large nail punch - that centered the hole. I then left the punch sticking through the hold and put a 7mm brass tube (slimline) over it and pulled the tube back through the hole. I then removed the punch and put the stopper into the tube and pushed that back through the hole. End result - stoppers sitting nicely in place through the mould. Although they are not removable, they are longer and better than the fixed silicone stoppers that come with the moulds.

    Thanks again

Glad it all worked out in the end.

Does this mean that the future moulds will be your new design?
