Electric Air Fryer suitable for stabilisation?
Hi all, Aldi have a decent size air fryer on special, and I was wondering for cactus juice if it's better than using the usual toaster oven, or not suitable?

yes better than a toaster oven. Biggest issue I had with something like that is the timer usually has a limit, but I can't see any details in the ad. Like a toaster over though, make sure the elements are nowhere near your wood.

Thanks, although everyone seems to make do with the toaster ovens, I was thinking being bigger it would apply a more even heat, without the proximity to elements like in the small toaster ovens?

Yes more reliable than a toaster oven. I used a similar camp oven to the one you showed for many years, just got frustrated with the 2 hr timer on mine, so swapped for a smoker oven that has a 24hr timer. It also hold a hell of a lot more timber too and can do lower temps for initial drying from green that the toaster can't do.

Wouldn't that be a bit too nice for that purpose? And you might have to fight with 200 others in the store to get one.

No need to fight hordes of grandparents in store as I was expecting, true to form for Aldi, I went to three stores, not a single person carrying one that I could see, and none anywhere to be found in stock!
Couldn't even see the empty spot where they were!
It's times like this when I get suckered into going to Aldi that I remember why I hate shopping there!

Probably struggling to get anything on their shelves with nothing coming in from China. Might be a German company but none of the specials are out of Germany.

They could well be impacted with some stuff coming from China, but this has always been a problem with Aldi, for years now I've tried to buy specials, quite often only to find as one of the first people in the store they magically "sold out" with not a single one of the objects to be seen upon opening!
They had a herb wine on special late last year, and I was the first person to go to the alcohol area, and select the single bottle found there, I assumed the staff hadn't put stock out, but upon queering it, was told "they ran out of stock".
