From memory the super cheap one comes on special about 4 times a year @$99.
A lot of us have converted this for our needs so they are tried and true.

yes the ebay one will work but why spend 40% more than what the rest of us get it for.
You also need to go out and buy another 30-40 bucks of parts to make it ok for casting.
    caps and taps etc.
Wait a few weeks they'll have an australia day special Or a 30 off storewide sale.

It probably will work, but cant testify to the quality, however as a lot of us have used the supercheap one and we know that the extra fittings that are required are readily available and the unit will do the job that we want it to.

The Super Cheap Auto ones have the same attachments as the EBay pressure pot. SCA looks a slightly better design at the base but the top is the same. Don't buy the fittings from SCA. Apart from the price, some of them don't fit properly.

You can get all the fittings on line as a fairly good price from TradeTools - Serious Tools... Seriously Discounted! Their stores are in Qld and NSW but they will post the stuff out. It was one of the few places I could get the right threads and sizes. Bunnings doesn't have the fittings that will suit.

I also use a bit of O ring grease around the O ring on the lid and that seems to help with any air leaks.
