    Amos,

It's nearly three years since that casting day and I fanally bought a pressure pot and getting into casting a bit more. Your picture tutorial has been great in refreshing my recollections. Thank for them.

The picture of the moulds from pvc piping intrigues me, how do you seal the bottom of the mould when they are standing up and what do you use so you can keep on using them or are they use and then throw away items?

    Peter.

I think his were timber plugs glued into the ends of the conduits, but you can use rubber stoppers, or even just Duct tape. Generally PVC tubes, when casting with PR, can be used for 2-3 casts before the resin sticks and you have to turn it off. I used to split my tubes and reseal with duct tape wrapping to make it easier to remove but use silicon molds these days. Also I use Epoxy these days that sticks to anything but silicon molds
