Default A link and a question

Ive just stumbled across this link LM105 I quite like the effect and can see a number of uses for the technique but the risk I see is bubbles of air getting trapped between the layers. These guys use clamps. How would you do it without a vacuum setup?

I'd make it in some sort of container. alternate layers of material with resin and
use a J-roller to move out any air bubbles. Of course, I haven't done it yet..
