On the way hehe! 40 lbs is fine I think the safety blows at about 45 A couple of things to think about the bottom of the chamber is concave ,make a fairly neat fitting round flat floor ( a piece of 3 ply or such cut on the bandsaw works well. ) unscrew the central internal pipe feed to give more room inside the chamber ,and keep your pot vertical ,laying it on its side will really complicate matters too much . Getting the lid on and not spilling or tipping your molds over would be a real challenge hehe. Under pressure the temp inside the pot is reduced so can take a bit longer to set hard, only time and experience can tell you how long the process takes ,anything from a couple of hrs to all night ,its not a precise science ,the methodology is slightly different for everyone , If you take out of the molds and have some slight tackiness a few hrs in the hot sun will cure that,some put in a toaster oven to poste cure at about 100 degrees for a half hr or so, its all a bit like Mad scientist alchemy hehe,but it all comes good in the end . cheers ~ John

This is the clip of the woman that has it on its side. It seems easier to slide the shelves into the pot than try and lower them. And you get more shelf space (I think) and the internal pipe can slide between the shelves.

I was going to nail the 2 side wedges onto ply, put the tank on top and then put straps over the top to hold it in place. I'm wasn't planning on doing huge Qty's so 1 level mould is enough for now.
I also don't have moulds yet, I'm the one thats going to try plastacine. I know I need to pull it all off at the end to get the blank out and make a new one. But it means I can make flat ones, vertical ones etc. but making a flat one is easy enough, just warm in microwave and push another blank into it.
I was going to just make solid blanks to start with, I know it uses more resin.
If the plastacine doesn't stick to resin at all I may try casting around tubes by using that as a plug and getting the right height in the mould.
Are you sure its cooler under pressure, though it was hotter, Isn't that why a bike pump gets hot when you use it and the vacuum of space is cold?

Its 4 hrs now and I still have pressure.

Interesting Video ,certainly a different angle on things hehe , Personally I don't do enough pressure casting to warrant a semi permanent pressure setup ,nor the bench space hehe. I think the heat generated by friction is what happens in a pump ,same things happens with compressor pipes ,might have to stick a fridge temp gauge in my pot and test if it actually reduces temp under pressure Cheers ~ John
