    Default pressure pot leaking ?

    G'day
I was frustrated that sometimes my pot leaks causing the compresser to cycle frequently, so I put the pot in a tank of water and found it was leaking from the safety valve . It had 50psi in the pot which is rated at 80psi . I briefly operated the safety valve and when it snapped back shut the leak stopped .
It's worth trying this if your pot seems to be loosing pressure to quickly .

Not that most of us ever do it but you are supposed to crack the safety valve on your compressor/pressure pot frequently to check that it operates and to blow out small particles.
