resin casting colours
Hi all
I am having lots of trouble when casting, with colours my colour runing into each other
changing the colours I need [yellow & blue end up green] and so on with others colours .
hoping some one can put me in the right direction ?

As Shawn says, you are not letting the resins set enough before pouring. Watch some of the videos in our Videos section (see top of page) and it will give you some guidance. Mixed colours is an art, with PR the difference between too runny and gel can be 10 seconds in warm weather

resin casting colours
I have been waiting for gel to start it just beats me every time.
by the time one starts the other starts. end up with all colours in one big mess
I am pouring 4 colours in one mould

What is your catalyst ratio, you may need to reduce the catalyst to slow the set especially in this heat. It also means you have to be patient waiting for the set. Practice makes perfect also the larger the pour the more heat is generated, thus once gelling starts it happens quickly.
