Resins cost
Hi there,
Just wondering where you get your resin and how much it cost. To make coasters with resin in the middle.

If you are pouring relatively small amounts, Diggers Clear Casting Resin from your local hardware will do the trick at ~$25/500 mls. If you want to do a fair bit, I recommend Fibre Glass International, they sell 1 ltr/4 ltr/20 ltr tins - I buy the 4 ltr tin at ~$65

You do have to be careful as it will go off in the tin ~1-2 years after making, depending on season & storage, so check the batch date on the base of the tin. I bought some once from Bunnies that was already 2 years old by mistake, it went off in 2 weeks after opening.
Shake the can well, it should be runny. I have had no problems with FGI stuff, very fresh, but I also use it up within 3 months
I use the FGI clear casting poly resinNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new
