    Default New silicon moulds

OK I have now moved to the next step, making some silicon moulds for my casting. I have made a version of a resin saver (a 4 tube sierra) and also a 20mm x 20mm x 130mm square triple mould. There a few small air bubbles in both moulds but they are insignificant enough that I am thinking they will not cause any problems. I think I can improve on the sierra mould by making the fit 2-3mm shorter but I will try a cast or two in this one before making a final decision on that.
Overall I am quite happy with the result and didn't really encounter any problems thanks to listening to the experts at the casting demo and browsing through the ensuing DVD prior to attempting it. So many thanks to those involved with the casting demo and DVD they have certainly made the learning curve so much smoother.
    Cheers Rumnut

Hehe ! that's it .you can do the next demo well done there ,at least now if you need to you can make custom molds for even longer kits like the vertex and pencils and knights etc . Cheers ~ John

    Looks good

Actually, it is better to have the Sierra ones a little large, to allow for shrinkage and trimming
