Another stabilizing system is on the market
See here: Wood Stabilization System - Hold Fast (Made in the USA) More info on the resin, although not much is here: Stick Fast Wood Stabilizing Resin, but looks like a Cactus Juice lookalike.
The vacuum system looks like it uses a venturi system, but seems very quiet for one, my old one was very noisy. His also only pulls ~25"Hg, mine could pull 29"Hg.
I have often bought their Chefware Kits, they are really good quality, so perhaps these are too but I have no experience with these at all, nor do I have any affiliations with the company. Just looks like another alternative to the Cactus Juice & Curtis's system. I have been thinking about the bag idea for my own for a while now.
The only problem I have is that the resin is not for sale on site, plus the bags aren't in the kit (although video says it is ), but perhaps the site just needs updating.
I also note from the TMI site that Bruce Bell from Toowoomba is the Aus distributor Bruce Bell - AustraliaNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Dead End
Neil,
I contacted Bruce Bell regarding purchase of the resin, below was my reply. So it looks like Bruce is not an agent when it comes to supply of the resin.
Cheers
Tony.
Tony,
To get this stuff to Australia it has to come premixed and has a very limited shelf life and the cost makes it not worth while it is classified as dangerous goods in its unmiked state.

Thanks for asking Tony. Did you ask about the actual vacuum kits itself?
Not sure how something mixed is Ok, but not mixed is a dangerous goods . Considering it looks exactly the same as Cactus Juice, also makes me wonder how is it going to be before the unmixed version is banned from import.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

I've got no details as this stage, only what is on the web sites. I did ask about the resins and vacuum bags and got this email reply:

thanks

New question has been added to ChefwareKits through Product Question extension!
Question text: Interested in your stabilizing stuff, but cn't see where you sell the actual resin. Also, the video mentions the bags, but they also do not appear in the kit list, nor can I see it for sale elsewhere on your site.
