Thread: 2009 International pen & blank swap Australia Day

I probably shouldn't enter this one

During the last swap I was still sorting out my lathe problems and perfecting the quality and finish of my pens. I've now sorted out my lathe and got my skills up to a suitable standard.

How about this: I make a nice pen before registering, that way when the names are drawn I'll be able to send the pen off straight away

OK the TPS turners have started to come in again just posted 5 of them some are dual members.

Come on you other countries out there be represented and get you flag flying Who will be the first from Canada, France, Scotland or NZ. Lots of other countries out there why not join in this annual pen swap event you may even make a long lasting new friendship the possibilities are endless ie include some local blanks as well.

Lets here from you there is plenty of time to organize

Thanks for organising this again, for those forum members hesitant about joining in, it is a great experience and a tremendous opportunity to make friends with people overseas or local. I for one have gained far mor from the last pen swap than I ever put in.

Sam I'm in this one too ! I really enjoyed swapping with Fred ( Big Shed ) The pens with case and blanks he sent to me were just amazing . I beleive our friend is a bit modest . Thanks for heading this one up Sam .
