Received my pen(s) from Cookie and they are beautifully made of Platypus Gum, with very nice workmanship. Then about a week later I got another box with really nice blanks all labeled so I can identify them. I have tried to take pics, but camera is not doing a nice job so I will try again so I can show them off.

Pen from Sawdust Maker
I received my pen from Nick (Sawdust Maker) It is a Black Titanium Baron FP, with what he believes to be Lemon scented Gum, found roadside in suburban Sidney. It has some excellant spalting and, very nice color. Along with the pen, I received a very nice assortment of blanks, with the corners sanded off.
Very pleased with this swap Nick and, good job running the show. I'm happy with my results and, hope you are too

My swap was with Corbs. I received a great Jr. Victor Roller Ball. It is made of Huon Pine and has fourteen (14)...yes...fourteen different wood inserts. It also came with a certificate that it won forst place in a competition. He has also include a great set of blanks. Pics below! (sorry for my poor photo skills. They dont do the pen justice)
Blanks Included:
Piece of Teak - Corbs may be able to give more detail. I have below what was written on the blank.
Deck piece from the training ship "Young Endeavour"
Silky Oak
JAM (not sure what this one is)
RM Burl
Myrtle
River Red Gum
Huon Pine
One Segmented Blank

Donkeee, glad to hear the package arrived safely
Here's a little more info on what's in the package for you:
(Raspberry) Jam wood
Sail Training Ship Young Endeavour
RM Burl is Red Mallee Burl
The segmented one is an Olive body with Tasmanian Blackwood & black cardboard inserts.
Keeping an eye on the letter box now eagerly awaiting my packageIt's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Received my package from "Gofer", (Bruce), in Canada today and
was very pleased with my swap (in fact a little embarrassed as the
quantity and quality from Bruce exceeded mine).
We will be swapping some more material in the near future and
hope to keep in touch thereafter.
Photos:
The blanks, from rear left.
Walnut (large enough to cut 4 blanks from)
Eastern Red Cedar (2)
Plum.
Red Oak.
Red Cedar.
Curly Cherry.
... and on the right side, from rear.
Birdseye Maple (2)
Sugar Maple.
Spalted Aspen (2)
Box Elder (2).
The pen, an absolute beauty, is a Jr Gent 1, wrapped in a
Figured Zircote Stump blank, finished with CA and polished
with Huts Ultra Gloss. One to keep in my special collection.
This is my first swap involvement - will be many more I am sure.

I was happy to recieve a very nice pen from Alan at Wallan a few days ago along with a few nice blanks to play with. This is why I love the swaps on this forum, I know I will get some very nice and interesting blanks that I would not otherwise see, not to mention a very nice pen.
My pen is a gold slim wrapped in a very nice piece of Conkerberry with a special clip to remind me where it wa made just for me.
I also was grateful for the little extras
Now to try and look forward to next years swap, and maybe get a head start on it if I get a chance
Bruce
