other blanks
I am wondering if anyone ever gets deer, elk, or other antler in Australia. I may have a source to get a rather large pile and am wondering if anyone would be interested. I am still working out the details with the people but will know more later on. At least I hope I will.

It would be nice to get hold of some of that Larry, but I dont think we are allow to import animal parts. I will stand corrected if some one can come up with a positive answer ??

You can import antler or animal parts, but there are a strict set of guidlines set down by Customs and The Department of Environment and Heirtage.
It is a slippery slope if you do it wrong.
We don't need to import antler when there are bucket loads here already.
I have some I would be willing to swap for some timber pen blanks, and will be getting more in April.
Attached pic 1 is some antler that I collected in NZ and have here now being mounted. Pic 2 is something I stumbled on in Zimbabwe last year. Totally off topic, sorry Idubia
ozIf you find you have dug yourself a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.
I just finished child-proofing our house - but they still get inside.
