The timber's still here folks. If anyone has any ideas, time's a-wasting.

sorry not to notice this one sooner been a busy week or two for me here.

I'll be very happy to help out with a few pens. Got some stuff that would be good. Bit of Jarrah too I can cut up to do something dark. People here seem to be right into those darker wood colours.

Ian called me and asked for his little lathe back *G*

So that rules me out not having anything to do the job with.

Anyway I stuck around for a little after dropping the lathe off and he allready had two almost finished. Will be just popping them out I am pretty sure.

that was a shocker. I should have parked up the top and carried the lathe down but clever me drove down and scratched it while I was reversing back up DOLT. and only days after it was repaired too!

Got 5 bream which was good. There were two big muthas too that dived to the bottom and broke my line. What a pain!

What I did Ian was send MMM FM a message for the Zoo to the rescue segment to tell them about all this. What I suggested was that they could let people know so they could buy pens to help out. Be great if you get to sell 200 pens at $50 each. They don't have your contacts but I sent them the link to this page so they can read about what is going on.

Here's hoping they get it on for you

    Default ouch

I was making a holding board for these pen blanks on my table saw just now.
I was just sliding the board thru at about 10mm deep on a 45deg angle, moving it over 20mm and sliding it thru again before doing it again to form a V.

I must have got a bit careless as I slid the board back towards me and it must have twisted a little bit and the blade grabbed it and spun it around so as the corner of it hit me right in the nuts, the right nut to be precise.
Dropped me like a sack of spuds:eek:

    Go on, laugh you bastards

So I have come in side for a bit of a rest
stuff it, I think I need a lie down

On the up side your parcel has just arrived Al
the pic of your parcel was taken after I had already started cutting blanks that's why some are missing.
