The one SWMBO uses is from the local supermarket (Coles I think) marked lamp oil, doesn't give bad fumes, but isn't marked either indoor or outdoor, I thought only the citronella oil was specifically meant for outdoor use?
Is that indoor oil? If it gives off bad fumes, it's no use. I've tried Woollies, Big W, Target, homewares stores, kitchenware stores, a specialist heating store (
), gift stores, $2 stores, all with no luck.
Didn't know you were looking for THAT kind of oilMaybe it's a banned substance in Queensland?

I'm not sure how the stores are laid out down there, but around here they often
put those lamps and the oils near the living room accessories like vases, candles,
small picture frames, knick knacks and such. The oil is usually odorless and smokeless
and not very expensive. I was wrong on the $1 though. It was 12 ounces and $1.88 but
that was at a Dollar Store. (cheap imports)
I'd send you a bunch, but I know shipping it would be a problem.
