    runs up to shed to hunt thru box of 'treasures' to try to find samples to see what they all look like ...... any hints on the theme before the choice???

    elm and rosewood or cedar ( which ever contrasts best with elm )

    Haven't used Iroko, Elm ot Bullock, so would be my preference. I also prefer similar hardness timber though, as I have a bad habit of joining them together . Up to you Dale, but thanks for asking.
