Had a go at single piece
Howdy just thought I'd post couple pics of single piece 7mm I have done.
And ask the question whether any one else who has tried this system has had issues with the fragility of the nib end due to not being glued to brass tube. Both the pens I have done ended up shorter due to splitiing at nib end due to fact that that end is very thin in the walls?
Any advice ?
One is campha with copper and other is tiger mrytle and gunmetal trims this actually looks quite smart. Photo does not do justice.cheers

Good Tute
Howdy Mky
I found the tute easy to follow and I think you could consistently produce some nice pens using this method. The only issue i had was turning the nib end a little thin which made it fragile and resulted in a shortening of the pen on the first two I did. On the next couple I paid more attention to thickness on nib end and they both turned out pretty good.
thanks for posting the tute it is always good to be able have ago at new styles and makes it a lot easy if someone has had ago .
cheerscheers

I wanted to make one of these last weekend and couldn't find this thread... have replied to it now which should make it easier to find next time I want to make one
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
