    Default Hornsby Men Shed

    Hi im 14 years of age and wondering is anyone here attends hornsby men shed?

    If so whats it like?

    I don't, but my Father-in-law does and he enjoys it. I would suggest you contact him, but he's just had an operation and isn't in the best of health (or moods!)

    AFAIK they would be happy to let you come along and see if you like it.

    Hi,

    I am a bit like Jeremy, in that I do not attend the shed but I know the guys that do very well. I have been to the shed on many times, mainly on Sunday mornings, and there are several guys there working on their own projects or a collective project for one community group or another.

    Be assured, the team there will welcome you with open arms. There are many experienced craftsmen there just looking to pass on their knowledge.

    Your age if your looking to be there as a member maybe the only problem stupid insurance OH&S workcover and state laws.

    well I know Oh/s etc sucks. Just going to be extra careful with the tools etc Ive gotten a school test 50/50 for saftey procedures... I want to go the next day is sunday so i will check it out "needs a dog kennel"

    Well done, best to have a go. The guys will be pleased to see you.

    Just one thing, I am not sure if the guys are there every Sunday, so if you go this week and they are not there do not be discouraged, they will be there the following week.
