As today is mothers day went out and had a look at the antique shops and found this antique French cabinetmakers bench. Have to apologize for the photos taken on phone, Cheers Richie.

Thanks rhancock but at $3275.00 its a bit out of my league I'm afraid, just wondering though how many stories it could tell,(if it could talk) but you know what I mean. Cheers Richie.

Nice heads up Richie! Where is it? Out of my league too but would love to take a look. Any idea of its age?
    Cheers,

I can imagine it now. All the wood workers on this forum (in Brissy) going to take a look at an antique work bench.

Before or after the working with wood show.

Bugger. I was poking around there 3 weeks ago and I didn't spot it.

Cheers Richie. it will be worth a look. In the age of $2 tools from wherever, something that has been around this long is just fantastic.
    Cheers,
