Ben's new workbench - MKII
Following on from this https://www.woodworkforums.com/f213/b...kbench-128715/ I have decided to make myself ANOTHER new workbench
Basically I want the first one to be solely for machining and construction, and I will use the new one to hold the bench grinder and other associated bits 'n pieces (that's my way of saying this bench is where I will dump all my crap until I can be bothered putting it back in the shelves from which it came!).
I have had a few people ask me of late if I can do kitchen mods or built in laundrys for them. I said of course I can, but I have never had anything to really show them. So the rationale behind this bench is that it wil be constructed akin to euro cabinet construction so if anyone wants to see my work, I will have something physical to show them as opposed to just a picture or two.
I also though that this would be the project I've been waiting for to give my Kreg pockethole jig a really good workout too. And a good workout it got.
Here are some pics of progress thus far. Draw fronts, doors and side panels will be made and sprayed the same blue as the other bench (Dulux True Blue, aka Carbatec Blue) so everything will all match nicely.

I'll get some pics up this arvo. I've only got the draw fronts and end panels sprayed so far as I ran out of time to prep the doors for paint :/
