How to build a bench 101 - WIP
To follow will be a light hearted approach to building a work bench. I will try to post at least every second day with a bit of luck.
To build a bench (as some of you may well know) can be a long process with much planing. It can require some chamges and tweaking along the way. So let us begin. There will be a more serious part to this thread so bare with me as I prattle on
Step 1
Find a small country locality or town. It must have as a minimum one silo
And one pub slash hotel

Step 2
Once the above had been decided upon find an old run down house
It is preferable that this house be 100 plus years old or at a minimum made of hardwood but one can make so with almost anything

Step 3
The next few steps could happen in a few orders so do not feel the need to stick strickly to this order.
Approach the bank about a loan for said house. Which bank?
There are a number. I happened to have used the above. If you want to spice up your bench build a little chiose a different bank 😉
At this point I should have mentioned costing. The cheaper the house potentially the more materials you may have to choose from. Given the proximity to a silo and pub you are unlikely to find one under $50, 000.
Challenge. If you find one under $50, 000 in Australia that meets all the above criteria please share. We would like a picture, price and location. Remember this thread may be here long after our children are dead and burried so for rhe sake of future generations please include more than a link ad it may not work 100 yrs from now. This is a history book for the future
